MT is back over hurdles here after attempting to go novice chasing early in the National Hunt season of 2020/21. 3 runs led to disappointing results and the return to hurdles has seen progressive form. 2nd last time out (48 days ago) after bumping into Ashington, who beat MT by 4 lengths. I've upgraded the run as the pair beat out 3rd place by 19 lengths. Off the same mark as last time out and conditions should suit.

Weebill returns to a race track after a layoff of 883 days and trainer Olly Murphy has an impressive record with a 21% strike rate in hurdle races over 2 miles 4 furlongs up to 2 miles 6 furlongs. The trainer also boasts a £12.33 profit off a level £1 stake with hurdlers who have been off for a year. Top weight and currently 33/1, the roughie of the pack, could he run into a place?

Flint Hill won over course & distance just 3 weeks ago but has been raised 8lbs following that run. The plot was landed as he went off at 28/1 and won cosily enough. He could repeat history, however the tasty price of 28/1 won't be available. Currently 6/1 second favourite of the field.

Minella Trump was unlucky to run into a good horse last time out and I expect him to run in similar fashion and find justice this time.
