14:20 Wolverhampton There’s little to no form to go off here with this maiden race but never the less a horse making his debut catches the eye. There’s no doubt that the short priced favourite Makanah is the one to beat but Bumble Beeze looks to run a big race. Despite the disadvantageous draw he’s been given this colt out of Zebedee has enough in his genetics to suggest a bold showing. Trainer Tom Dascombe has a strike rate of over 20% with his two year olds running on the all-weather and looks to add to his tally again today. The rest of the field looks very difficult to decipher but Wildnightinvegas aims to build on his fifth placed showing from his one and only run and could build on that by picking up place money. 15:40 Hamilton Owners Jackton Racing Club love a winner here at Hamilton and they may have to make another trip to the winners enclosure once more. Looking at their horse Stardrifter’s last three runs it leaves very little inspiration with his best effort seeing him finish ninth. I may be a fool in opting for a horse with poor recent form but a return to Class 6 is a massive plus. This six year old hasn’t contested a Class 6 handicap since July 2014 and he’s hit the lofty heights of partaking in Class 2 races. Now sitting on a handicap mark of 64, which is six pounds lower than his last success, he’s got a great chance. Course and distance winners Amy Blair and Framley Garth pose the biggest threat to today’s selection. Amy Blair claimed victory at this venue just six days ago and looks to put in a repeat performance. If he has enough in reserve since his recent outing then he’ll go close once again and is likely to be the greatest danger. STARDRIFTER (WIN)
