RACE PREVIEW & TIPS (FRIDAY)

RACE PREVIEW

DUNDALK 19:30

Baby Power is still a maiden at the age of four but it’s not too disastrous after just six starts. he last raced back in August when finishing sixth of sixteen at Bellewstown. Prior to this a promising fourth here at Dundalk also looks like ok form. A drop down to seven furlongs looks to be a positive mood and with the promising Conor Hoban booked for the ride it looks worth parting with your money for.

Former all-weather winner Polymnia has a decent chance now she returns to an artificial surface but being burdened with top weight may be too much of a task.

Olly’s Folly and Three Majors who have both placed and won here at Dundalk previously should also be worth considering as ones that are likely to finish up near the front.

RACE PREVIEW

DUNDALK 20:00 – (BET OF THE DAY)

The sixth of an eight race card at Dundalk is a seven furlong handicap where the Tracey Collins trained Streisand aims to claim her first race victory. The formidable trainer has had a sack full of winners here at her beloved Dundalk and she tends to get her horses to strike as we approach winter. Streisand was unlucky last time out and didn’t get any sort of clear run so the form of that race can be readily ignored. Prior to that outing the three year old put in an eye-catching run at Tipperary and if she can reproduce that sort of form has enough potential to easily win a race at this level.

Evie’s Wish is an opponent that looks to have scope for further improvement and should be a lovely threat to our selection.
