RACE PREVIEWS & TIPS (THURSDAY)
This looks a very good chance for the Sir Mark Prescott trained, Starshell to finally shed his maiden tag. Twice a runner up already on the artificial surfaces it is unlikely he will be found another race as moderate as this and from his plumb draw he is very hard to get away from. Glassalt makes her handicap debut today and will likely do better in this sphere, from a good yard it would be disappointing if she failed to figure with De Sousa up top. Artic Nel is another to watch, especially if the market speaks in his favour.
Entangling showed a fairly pleasing attitude when buckling down to win a shade cosily at Yarmouth last month, upped only three pounds for that here he should go very close for De Sousa and is very difficult to dismiss. Ourmullion scored over track and trip earlier in the month, quietly progressive prior to that he should go well once more, despite the extra weight. Hawridge Glory seems to be improving with experience and is fairly interesting on his all weather debut, strong market vibes would be positive but Entangling makes most appeal.
